After waking up to the morning with a vegetable smoothie, I have been searching for a cafe where I can relax and enjoy the morning time while enjoying breakfast. I happened to find " Urth Caffe " in Omotesando! It is about a 5-minute walk from Omotesando Station.

Coffee, pancakes, and breakfast bowls made with a focus on organic products are popular here. I also set foot in the store at once!


◆ Interior & terrace surrounded by nature

The Earth Cafe Omotesando store is located in the commercial facility "SO-CAL LINK OMOTESANDO", which houses fashion brands.


There are also terrace seats outside. There is also a small bench, just like a cafe in the woods! When the weather is nice, it's elegant to sit on the terrace and enjoy an organic coffee in the morning.


◆ "Oatmeal" that feels like overseas

Now, let's have a meal time.

The first thing I was interested in was the standard bowl menu "organic oatmeal" (660 yen). I don't usually eat oatmeal, but the morning I greet with it in Omotesando is like an overseas celebrity, isn't it?


Oatmeal is made from wheat, not rice. It's like porridge when eaten by itself. It has a fairly healthy taste (almost tasteless), so you can top it with granola with dried fruits, raisins, and brown sugar as you like.


Brown sugar and dried fruits add a gentle natural sweetness and transform into a gorgeous taste at once! If you like, you can also pour cold milk to make it delicious.


◆ The clerk also recommends "pancakes"

This is also one of the signboard menus, "Coffee Cream Pancake" using organic espresso! The clerk also said that it was recommended, so I tried it. The contrast between brown and white is dazzling!


Two fluffy pancakes about 2 cm thick are stacked, and a generous amount of coffee cream with mascarpone cheese is combined. Coffee beans and mint leaves are a little topping!

The dough is so soft that you don't need a knife, and the rich coffee cream soaks into it, giving it a "fluffy" texture that feels like French toast! The saltiness is also working well.


I was worried that I could eat it all by myself because it is thick and large, but even if I (the author) is a big eater, it's completely no problem! The dough is light and fluffy, so you can eat it quickly, and the slightly bitter coffee cream adds an accent to the taste, so you won't get bored until the end.

◆ The shop's proud "organic coffee"

What you want to drink with the pancakes is the organic coffee that the cafe is proud of, which is said to have been grown naturally. It is filled with a mellow scent. Both sour and bitter tastes are not too strong, and there is no unpleasant taste and a pure taste!


The oatmeal and pancakes I ate this time are all-day menus that are served all day long, not just in the morning. You can enjoy it not only for breakfast but also for lunch and snack time!
