And one more new hybrid sweet was born in this world. It is "Mallo Mac" released from "DANA'S BAKERY", a macaron specialty store in Muyoke, USA. The US media NY Times reports.
"Mallo Mac" is a new generation of sweets created by the encounter of macaroons and marshmallows. Homemade marshmallows are combined with fragrant brown sugar-flavored macaroons and coated with chocolate.
I wasn't impressed with macaroons because I don't have a habit of eating marshmallows very often in Japan, but it seems that this new generation of sweets is still a hot topic in the United States. On the official Facebook page of the store, there are many exciting comments such as "I want to order now!", "Both are my dad's favorite foods", and "I ate yesterday, but it was awesome!".
MalloMac is on sale at the store's online shop, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be shipped to Japan so far. However, if it becomes popular in the United States, it will eventually reach Japan, so let's wait patiently until that time comes.
