A new store "Masayume Sakayume" will open in Jiyugaoka Sweets Forest on January 9. The store will be open until March 17 as part of Sweets Forest's 10th anniversary project.


Masayume Sakayume is a baumkuchen specialty store that opened in 2010 in Tamba, Hyogo Prefecture. The store's baumkuchen are carefully baked using carefully selected Tanba ingredients such as eggs, rice, wheat, chestnuts, black beans, and Dainagon azuki beans.

The store's popular products include "Jyunone-Keyaki" (2,100 yen) made with fragrant black beans and "Salepepe" (2,520 yen), a salted baum with three kinds of cheese and pepper, the seasonal "Onagon Baum Roll (fresh strawberry)" (630 yen), and the Sweets Forest Sweets Forest will also sell "limited edition sweets" such as the seasonal "Dainagon Baum Roll (fresh strawberry)" (630 yen) and the limited edition "Yuzu Chocolate Baum" (630 yen).


Jiyugaoka Sweets Forest is located at 2-25-7 Midorigaoka, Meguro-ku, Tokyo, and is open from 10:00 to 20:00, with free admission.
