Oni oroshi niku bukkake udon, oni oroshi chicken kara bukkake udon, and oni oroshi pork shabu shabu bukkake udon will be available at Marugame Seimen from June 15.

Oni Oroshi Meat Bukkake Udon

The combination of udon noodles, crispy oni oroshi (grated oni), freshly grilled beef and onions, and thick broth, combined with noodles that have been cooled in cold water for a smooth texture, makes a perfect summer dish that is both "hearty" and "refreshing. This summer, it has evolved into a freshly grilled dish. The beef and onions are grilled one by one after each order is placed and served freshly prepared.


Prices are as follows: regular 690 yen, large 810 yen, and special 930 yen (tax included).

Oni Oroshi Chicken Kara Bukkake Udon

A bowl of udon noodles with a firm texture, tightly packed in cold water, and three juicy, freshly fried chicken thighs flavored with garlic and soy sauce. One bite of this dish will fill your mouth with the juicy taste of the fried chicken and the freshness of the grated oni (grated radish).


The deep-fried eggplant and chopped yuzu (Japanese citron) add a summery touch. Prices are as follows: regular 690 yen, large 810 yen, and special 930 yen.

Udon noodles with grated onion and pork shabu-shabu

Sold at some stores in shopping centers. Freshly boiled udon noodles are then cold-cooled and served with a large portion of tender pork shabu shabu on top. Thinly sliced pork shabu is boiled through at the restaurant. The pork shabu shabu is then dipped in a special flavorful broth made from Hokkaido kelp and shavings, and seasoned thoroughly.


The flavor is light and refreshing, yet satisfying. The special ponzu sauce and chopped yuzu (Japanese citron) added at the end give the dish a refreshing taste. Prices are as follows: regular 690 yen, large 810 yen, and special 930 yen.
