grated ginger 1 teaspoon

Sauteed Salmon and Cabbage with Mentsuyu Mayonnaise

Ingredients (for 2 persons)

2 slices fresh salmon
2 outer leaves of cabbage
1/2 of an onion
A pinch of salt and pepper
A pinch of potato starch
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons men-tsuyu (3 times concentrated) or mayonnaise
1 teaspoon grated ginger

Sauteed Salmon and Cabbage with Mentsuyu Mayonnaise Directions

Cut cabbage leaves into bite-sized pieces and core into thin slices. Cut onion into thin slices.


Cut each slice of salmon into 4 or 5 pieces, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and let sit for 10 minutes. Pat dry and sprinkle with potato starch.



Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and place the raw salmon on the pan. Brown the salmon on both sides.


Add cabbage and onion and saute over medium heat until softened.
