Cocoa Shiruko

Ingredients (for 1 person)

1 piece of cut rice cake 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder
Yudezuki 50g (1.76oz)
1/2 teaspoon brandy or rum

How to make cocoa shiruko

Cut the rice cake in half and bake in an oven toaster until it is lightly colored and soft.

Put cocoa powder in a small bowl and add 1.5 tablespoons of hot water to dissolve.


Put azuki beans and 40 ml of water in a small pan, mix and heat over medium heat. Boil for about 2 minutes with occasional mixing.


Add cocoa melted in hot water and brandy or rum to a pan and mix. Take it in a bowl and add the baked rice cake to complete it.
