Japan's first IKEA weight-selling deli "Sweden Bites" opens in Shinjuku! To go the popular Scandinavian menu

For the first time in Japan, "Swedish Bite", which offers a deli menu by weight, is now available. It will open on the 1st floor of IKEA Shinjuku from May 17th.

"Swedish Bites" is a service where you can easily enjoy the Scandinavian flavors that are popular at IKEA restaurants. You can view the menu from the window like the basement of a department store, and purchase it for lunch or dinner at your office or home.

The menu for sale by weight includes traditional Swedish food, plant-based lasagna and plant balls that use plant-derived ingredients instead of meat, "shrimp potato salad with dill mayo" that uses MSC-certified shrimp, and ASC-certified. There are many sustainable menus such as "Salmon marinade with lasagna sauce" using salmon.

In addition to the limited menu "Blue Plant Base Apple Soft", side menus such as plant keema curry, cinnamon rolls, and traditional Swedish food Thun Broad are also available. Bakery products and various drinks are also available.
