Turnip Steak

Ingredients

Here is what you need to prepare.

1 turnip
A pinch of salt
A pinch of coarsely ground black pepper
A dash of olive oil
A pinch of grated garlic (can use a tube)

Preparation

Wash and peel the turnips and cut into 1 cm thick slices.

Heat the olive oil and grated garlic in a frying pan over low heat until fragrant.

Add the turnips and brown them on both sides. Finish with salt and pepper and you're done! If you have leftover turnip leaves, you can quickly fry them too and serve them on the side.

The sweet juices of the turnip overflowing from the inside. The savory flavor of the garlic and the spiciness of the coarsely ground pepper are a perfect match! Every time I eat it, I think that the most luxurious thing is to bite into it freshly grilled and hot. The sweetness of the turnip fills your mouth.
