How to store cherry tomatoes
What to prepare
Mini-tomatoes, kitchen paper, the container you bought them in, or a container with a lid such as Tupperware
Procedure
Remove the stems of mini-tomatoes. The stems are easy to breed bacteria and cause mold, so we remove them.
Rinse the small tomatoes in water.
Blot dry with paper towels or a clean dish towel.
Line the original container or Tupperware with paper towels and place the tomatoes in a row. If there are more than two layers, it is safer to separate the containers. Shallow containers are better than deep ones.
No more than two layers of cherry tomatoes.
Cover the top with a paper towel and close the lid.
Then store in the refrigerator as usual; it will keep its firmness and flavor for about 2 to 3 weeks.
If you buy a large amount at a special sale, or if you tend to accidentally spoil them in the refrigerator, try this.
