At Seijo Ishii, a gorgeous winter chocolate cake "White Truffle Oil and Hazelnut Gateau Chocolat" is on sale for winter only from November. The price is 990 yen per bottle (excluding tax).


Gateau chocolate where you can enjoy the harmony of white truffles, chocolate and hazelnuts. Ganache is layered on the gateau chocolate and topped with hazelnuts.

The base is gateau chocolate kneaded with white truffle oil. It is moist and rich, and the scent of white truffles rises vividly along with the lips.


What about truffles and chocolate before eating? I thought, but there is no discomfort at all! The sweet scent of cacao matches the mellow scent of white truffles that resemble butter.

The layered ganache is made with hazelnut Gianduja paste and milk chocolate. The fragrant and milky sweetness and the melting softness are a good balance with the heavy cake part.


The hazelnuts that cover the top are accented with a crispy texture and fragrance. Furthermore, it raises the whole to a richer taste with a gentle richness.


It's a classic cake, gateau chocolate, but it's new and rich with the scent of white truffles. It's flavorful and goes well with wine and champagne, so it's also recommended as a souvenir for parties!
