This is a new flavor of Seijo Ishii's homemade pound cake series, which is known for its heavy weight. Tanabe Farm bananas, which are also sold at Seijo Ishii stores, are used as ingredients. The fruit is cultivated in Ecuador by Japanese people and is characterized by its sticky texture and rich sweetness.
The bananas are then mixed with granulated sugar, lemon juice, and rum, heated, and when they become moist, they are boiled to a paste to make jam, which is then combined with coconut cream and baked.
The dough is then covered with a syrup made from a combination of passion fruit puree and rum, which was chosen to go well with the bananas, and sprinkled with organic coconut. Tanabe Farms bananas are also used in the pound cake, and the flavor of the bananas can be felt in every bite.
