The renewed "Devil's Onigiri" (110 yen) and "Devil's Yaki Udon" (399 yen) went on sale at Lawson on January 15.
The
previous devil's rice balls were delicious, but personally, they lacked a little bit of flavor... How about this time? I tried it right away!

Devil's Onigiri
Seasoned rice ball with soy sauce, tenkasu and aonori (green laver) mixed in. Newly finished with sesame oil and green onions. 210 kcal per serving.
When I tried it...
Yum! I thought the previous version needed a little more punch, but this time, the sesame oil flavor makes it much more satisfying. The "devilishness" created by the tempura sauce and aonori (green laver) is the same as ever. I don't feel that it is lacking.
Devil's Yaki Udon
A dish of yakiudon noodles seasoned with soy sauce, mirin, sugar, bonito and kelp stock, etc., and topped with tenkasu with aosa nori (seaweed) as an optional garnish. 673 kcal per serving.
The stickier the udon is, the more you bite into it, the more savory the flavor of the soy sauce and dashi broth becomes. The generous amount of tenkasu (dregs of heaven) that fills the mouth is soft and sweet, and the various textures of the dregs, from crunchy to moist and entwined with the udon, are a delight. The aroma of the sea breeze from the aosa seaweed also spreads, making this a delicious dish.
The only thing to note is that the tenkasu tends to scatter when you eat it, so be careful.
A lot of dregs will be involved.
The yakiudon was more salty than the onigiri. Personally, I think the yakiudon is more addictive.
On January 22, "Devil's Bread" and "Devil's Toast" will also be available, so we can expect more of the same!
