"Koedo Kawagoe Shoe" sold at the long-established Japanese sweets shop "Kameya" in Kawagoe. There are two flavors, sweet potato and purple potato, each for 160 yen (excluding tax).
This is a cream puff with a smooth cream wrapped in a shoe containing purple potato powder. It looks like a potato.
In both cases, the cream is modest in sweetness. It is sold in a well-chilled state, so if you buy it and eat it immediately, you can enjoy the cool and smooth texture of the cream.
Personally, I prefer purple potatoes, which have a stronger refreshing feel than sweet potatoes. I am grateful that it is the best amount that I can eat with about 3 mouths without burdening eating.
