"Hakodate/Donan Fair"

LAWSON will hold the "Hakodate/Donan Fair" at LAWSON stores in Hokkaido from November 1. Products using ingredients related to Hakodate and Donan as well as local menu items will be released one after another.

The seven products to be released this time are "Hakodate Hotate Onigiri", "Goshimaken-supervised Curry Rice", "Goshimaken-supervised Curry Udon", "Mentaiko Potato Salad Sandwich", "Oimoshoe Cream with Hakodate Red Azuma Paste", "Hakodate Makonbu Tororo Kombu Onigiri" and "California Baby-supervised Cisco Rice". The outline of each item is as follows. A summary of each item is as follows

Onigiri

made with scallops from Ekoban Bay. Chopped scallops cooked in a sweet and spicy sauce are wrapped in rice cooked with kombu and soy sauce.


Priced at 268 yen (tax included). The product will go on sale on November 1.

Curry Rice supervised

Goshimaken Curry Rice supervised by Goshimaken, a long-established Western-style restaurant established in 1877 in Hakodate. The spicy and tangy roux is inspired by Goshimaken's signature English-style curry. It is topped with beef, potatoes, and carrots.


The price is 599 yen. The product will go on sale on November 1.

Udon Noodle supervised by Goshimaken

This curry udon uses "Goto Teben Udon" from the Goto Islands, the birthplace of Eikichi Goto, the first chef of "Goshimaken," and features a soup made from curry, a signature menu item, and chin broth.


The price is 599 yen. The product will go on sale on November 1.

Mentaiko Potato Salad Sand

wich This sandwich combines mentaiko (cod roe) from Tanabe Foods Hakodate and potato salad made with Hokkaido potatoes. The mentaiko is made from Hokkaido pollack.


The price is 322 yen. The product will go on sale on November 1.

Oimo Choux: Cream with Red Azuma Paste

from Hakodate Hokkaido cream with red azuma paste from Hakodate mixed with whipped cream is wrapped in puff pastry with custard cream. The puff pastry is colored with the color of sweet potatoes and topped with white chocolate.


The price is 227 yen. The product will go on sale on November 1.

Hakodate Makonbu Tororo Kombu Onigiri

: Ume rice balls covered with Tororo Kombu made from Hakodate Makonbu.


The price is 171 yen including tax. The product will go on sale on November 15.

Cisco Rice supervised by California Baby

This product is inspired by "Cisco Rice," a specialty of the popular restaurant "California Baby" in Hakodate. It is made of buttered rice topped with tomato meat sauce and two sausages.


The price is 599 yen. The product will go on sale on November 29.
