Paste "Tarako Paste" is a paste characterized by the flavor of cod roe and kelp dashi. Since it can be used in any quantity without the need to break it up, it can be used in a variety of ways, such as with rice, side dishes, bento boxes, or as a "little something extra" such as cod roe mayo.

As with the "Spicy cod roe paste" currently on the market, a particular challenge in the development of this product was to ensure that the taste would last for a long time. Like pickled plums, pickles, and jams, we made full use of the same blending techniques for adding acid, salt, and sugar to fresh foods as we did for "Spicy cod roe paste," but cod roe does not have the chili pepper flavor of spicy cod roe, so we needed to express the flavor of the cod roe itself to make it tasty.
