Two New Valentine's Day Tarts from

KIRFEBON New Valentine's Day tarts will be on sale from February 1 to February 14, 2023, at 10 stores nationwide of the fruit tart specialty store KIRFEBON. Two types of tarts will be available: "Kagawa Prefecture 'Sorafuki Ichigo' Shortcake Tart - Chocolate Flavor," which is reminiscent of strawberry shortcake, and "Tarte Opera," which is an opera arranged in the style of Quilfévon.

Kagawa Prefecture's "Sorafukiichigo" Shortcake Tart - Chocolate Flavor"

uses "Sorafukiichigo" strawberries, which are cultivated at low temperatures to produce strawberries with high sugar content. The combination of the rich sweetness and firm texture of "Sorafukiichigo" and pure white cream gives the tart a shortcake-like appearance.


The base is a bittersweet cocoa pie layered with chocolate cream and chocolate custard. It makes a perfect Valentine's Day gift.


Priced at 1,188 yen per piece (8% tax included, the same below), 11,880 yen for a whole (25 cm), and 6,048 yen for a whole (17 cm).

Tarte Opera"

: A tart opera with various layers of gianduja, café joconde, coffee butter cream, and chocolate cream, giving it a profound flavor. This tart is a Kirfevon-inspired interpretation of the elegant pastry that is representative of France. It is also recommended as a Valentine's Day gift.


Priced at 756 yen per piece and 7,560 yen for a whole (21cm).
