Nakau "Katsuo no Tataki Donburi" (Bonito Tataki Bowl)

Nakau will launch "Katsuo no Tataki Donburi," a bowl of rice topped with luxurious Kesennuma bonito, on October 20 at 11:00 a.m. The dish is scheduled to be discontinued at the end of November.

Bonito Tataki Donburi

Katsuo no Tataki Don" is a bowl of rice topped with a generous portion of "Katsuo no Tataki" made from bonito landed in Kesennuma. The surface of the bonito is seared and cut into thick slices, marinated in a special sauce, and served over rice. The savory flavor of the seared skin and the rich, meaty red meat can be enjoyed, and when combined with the optional grated ginger, the taste is refreshing.

For those who want to enjoy the bonito with its full flavor to their heart's content, the "Gokai-mori" is also available, with twice as many bonito flakes as the regular portion. Toppings such as "Kodawari Egg" and "Tororo (grated yam)" are also available. The rich and thick egg and the flavorful grated yam go perfectly with the bonito flounder.
