Hotto Motto "Kaisen Tendon" (Seafood Tendon)

Kaisen Tendon, Top Kaisen Tendon, and Kaisen Ten-Toshi-don will be available at Hotto Motto on March 22.

Kaisen Tendon

In addition to two resilient shrimp, soft squid, and scallop tempura, which spreads its flavor as it is chewed, the dish also includes Spanish mackerel tempura and vegetable tempura of snap pea and lotus root, which are typical spring ingredients. The Spanish mackerel tempura is plump and fluffy, and the flavor of the Spanish mackerel can be fully appreciated.

Tendon sauce is seasoned according to regional taste preferences, with eastern Japan using two types of soy sauce and two different flavors of dried bonito flakes. The Western Japan version combines the umami of bonito, kelp, dried sardines, and shiitake mushrooms with dark soy sauce to create a mildly sweet sauce.

The price is 590 yen (tax included, same as below). The "Tempura Assortment," which allows you to take home only the tempura, is priced at 490 yen.
