Tendon features two resilient shrimps, soft squid, and scallop tempura with a flavor that expands as you bite into it, as well as springtime ingredients such as Spanish mackerel tempura and vegetable tempura of snap peas and lotus root. The Spanish mackerel tempura is plump and fluffy, and the flavor of the Spanish mackerel can be savored.
Tendon sauce is seasoned according to regional taste preferences, with eastern Japan using two types of soy sauce and two different flavors of dried bonito flakes. The Western Japan version combines the umami of bonito, kelp, dried sardines, and shiitake mushrooms with dark soy sauce to create a mildly sweet sauce.
The price is 590 yen (tax included). The "Tempura Assortment," which allows you to take home only the tempura from the Kaisen Tendon, is priced at 490 yen.

For those who want to enjoy more seafood, we recommend the "Top Kaisen Tendon" with twice as much shrimp and scallop tempura, which is very satisfying. The price is 760 yen.
Kaisen Ten Toshi-don
: Tempura from Kaisen Tendon is simmered in a sweet soy sauce sauce and softly topped with an egg. The price is 640 yen.
