Roasted Monaka

"Roasted sweet potato" is a monaka ice cream that looks just like roasted sweet potato and you can enjoy the warm "autumn taste" when you eat it. Sweet potatoes from Kagoshima prefecture are used to make a rich flavor of ice cream, and sweet potatoes made from Kagoshima prefecture are also mixed with sweet potato paste and wrapped in roasted sweet potato-colored monaka skin.


The difference from the previous "Monaka" is not only the color of the monaka skin. Changed the sweet potato paste mixed in the ice cream to "roasted sweet potato type" only. It seems that the "baked sweet potato feeling" of ice cream has become stronger than that of conventional monaka.

Also, the sweetness of the ice cream and bean paste has been reduced, and the flavor is finished as if you were enjoying the whole "cold roasted sweet potato". It is said that the fragrance of the monaka skin and the texture and sweetness of the sticky sweet potatoes will spread throughout your mouth.
