Kitsune Tsukune Sandwich
Recipe
Ingredients
What to prepare. I use Kikkoman's recipe as a reference.2 sheets of fried bean curd
Flour as needed
160g (5.64oz) minced chicken meat
10cm of spring onion
1/2 piece of ginger
1 tbsp white sesame seeds
1 tbsp soy sauce
Directions
Cut fried bean curd in half and open to make a bag, dredge the inside of the bag with flour.Mix chopped green onion and ginger with ground chicken, riri sesame and soy sauce until sticky.
Fill the opened fried tofu with the seeds.
Bake firmly in a toaster oven for 7 to 8 minutes to allow the inside to cook through (you can also line with aluminum foil). When it's done baking, it's done!
How does it taste?
Yummmm, so good! Fluffy chicken tsukune wrapped in fluffy, juicy fried tofu. The fatty, sweet juices are complemented by the spicy ginger. The crunchy sesame seeds add a nice savory flavor too!The crunchy ginger in the soft tsukune is a nice accent to the texture. It's a little bit crazy good.... By the way, you can use a tube of ginger, but I recommend chopping the ginger as it gives a nice crunchy texture when you eat it.
The meat doesn't lose its shape because it is wrapped in fried bean curd, and since you don't use a frying pan, you don't have to do much washing up. And it's delicious, what more is there to say! So, how about a side dish for today's dinner?
