"Kirby's Manmaru Handmade Monaka" will be on sale from Kyoto "Tsuruya Yoshinobu" on July 7th at stores only. Reservations are being accepted at the Tsuruya Yoshinobu official online shop (as of 14:00 on June 28).

This is a handmade set that you can enjoy by sandwiching the bean paste with the monaka seeds. This is the first collaboration between Kyoto's long-established confectionery maker "Tsuruya Yoshinobu" and "Kirby: Right Back at the Stars". You can enjoy the exquisite harmony of the fragrant monaka and the mellow and flavorful bean paste.


It seems that the Monaka seeds with Kirby's facial expression printed on them and the "Ogura bean paste" and "Koshian paste" are packed in cans. "1 can" contains only "Ogura bean paste", and "2 cans" contains 2 types of "Ogura bean paste and red bean paste". The price is 1,566 yen for one can and 3,132 yen for two cans (both including tax).


Ogura bean paste uses Tamba Dainagon azuki beans, which are rich in flavor. Koshian is smooth and has a hint of yuzu scent, and is finished in a scrutinized and reliable taste unique to Kyogashi.

The package is an original Japanese-style design only for "Kirby's round handmade monaka". The set of "Ogura bean paste" cans expresses Kirby with a fluffy golden sky, and the set of "Koshian" cans expresses the Japanese world with the motif of auspicious Shochikuume.


Kirby arranged in a gold lacquer style in the inner box. Characters and in-game pattern designs are gently extended into traditional patterns such as checkered patterns, and the design is highly collectible with a focus on Japanese and Kirby.
