Eggs After boiling eggs to your desired consistency, peel the shells and soak them in mentsuyu (a sauce made of soy sauce and smoked powder) in a Tupperware or small jar. Ideally, leave them for a day to allow the flavor to develop. In this case, I diluted 2x concentrated mentsuyu with a little water, added smoked powder and dissolved it, and soaked the eggs overnight.
