GYU-KAKU Akasaka store limited menu
At GYU-KAKU's Akasaka store, there is meat that can only be eaten here.

Yakiniku chain GYU-KAKU opened a new "Akasaka store" on April 17th. In addition to the regular menu, there are limited menus such as "Aged Harami" and "Kuroge Wagyu Beef Steak" that can only be eaten here.

When I went to the store, there were nearly 30 kinds of limited menus (!), So we, the editorial department, actually ate and ranked what we thought "this should be done" without permission. !!

◆ Top 3 recommended "meat"

First of all, the main meat. Introducing the TOP3 from all 12 types!

1st place ... Aged Harami Miso 890 yen

GYU-KAKU Akasaka store "Aged Harami Miso"

The balance of lean meat, fat, and seasoned miso was the strongest, so I ranked first!

This meat has more sashimi than normal skirt steak, and when you put it in your mouth, the fat is sweet and melts. The meat is soft and fluffy and crispy, and the more you chew, the more juicy the gravy overflows.

You can enjoy the sweetness of fat and the umami of lean meat in a mixed manner, and the fragrant richness of miso spreads softly, making you feel like "I'm glad I was Japanese!"

2nd place ... Aged Harami salt 890 yen

GYU-KAKU Akasaka store "Aged Harami salt"

Aged Harami salt, which is one of the best menus in the restaurant. Although it was defeated by miso by a small margin, it is a gem that you can simply taste the deliciousness of the meat itself with green onion salt.

GYU-KAKU's aged meat is aged by a method called "wet aging", and by aging it in a vacuum package for 30 to 40 days, it has less nutty aroma. Certainly, compared to general aged meat, it has less habit and I felt it was easier to eat.

It goes well with beer and white rice!

3rd place ... Japanese black beef blade steak 1,480 yen

GYU-KAKU Akasaka store "Japanese black beef blade steak"

Thick sliced Japanese black beef blade steak with sea urchin and wasabi. It's not an exaggeration to say that they reign at the top of seafood and mountain food, respectively. Is it okay to have such a luxury at the same time?

The steak meat with plenty of sashimi melts and disappears the moment you put it in your mouth, even though it is thick. The sweetness of the rich meat fat and the rich sea urchin mariage are superb!

When you put a little wasabi on it, the spicy stimulus enhances the taste of meat and sea urchin. It seems to go well with wine as well as beer and highball.

1st place ... Beef hormone Ahijo 690 yen

Gyukaku Akasaka store "Beef hormone ajillo"

At GYU-KAKU's regular stores, ordering shrimp ajillo and hormones separately, and eating the grilled hormones on the ajillo is secretly a hit as an arrangement menu known to those in the know. The official menu of this is Ahijo, a beef hormone limited to the Akasaka store.

Ahijo is simmering over the fire. When it gets warm, try eating it as it is. Olive oil with garlic and basil paste goes well with plenty of hormones ...! Of course, even if you put it on the attached baguette.

2nd place ... Tantanmen without beef horn juice 690 yen

GYU-KAKU Akasaka store "GYU-KAKU soupless Tantanmen"

Especially recommended for spicy food lovers, Shirunashi Tantanmen! Plenty of sesame seeds and chili powder are combined. The ingredients are cabbage, green onions, bean sprouts, and minced meat.

If you sip the thick, chewy noodles that are vigorously mixed, the rich sesame scent will fill your mouth. It's delicious because it's so chewy that you can feel the roughness on your tongue. And it's pretty spicy! The chili peppers are fluttering behind.

The interior of the store is also chic with wood grain, and there are spacious and open window seats, so you can enjoy a slightly different atmosphere from the usual GYU-KAKU. It seems that you can have an "adult way of enjoying" that is unique to the Akasaka store.
