Perfect for cold winters! Introducing "Deep-fried Daigakuimo" that you can easily make at home. I made it with reference to the recipe of "Kewpie".
Even though it doesn't use butter or oil, the sweet potatoes are rich. The secret is ... mayonnaise!
◆ Materials
1 sweet potato 1 tablespoon honeyHalf a teaspoon of soy sauce
1 teaspoon white sesame
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
You can make it with almost anything you have at home.
◆ How to make
Cut the sweet potatoes into small pieces with the skin on. After cutting, expose it to water and put it in a heat-resistant container while the potatoes are still wet. Cover with plastic wrap and heat in a 500W microwave for 4-5 minutes.Next, put 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise in a frying pan, heat it, and add the sweet potatoes heated in the microwave. Fry until browned.
Finally, turn off the heat, add the sauce mixed with honey and soy sauce, entangle it all over, and shake the white sesame seeds to complete!
◆ The taste is ...
The appearance of Daigakuimo is quite good. When I try to eat ...?Delicious! Although the fried Daigaku-imo does not have the crispness or the stickiness of honey, it is sweet and salty and fragrant.
Mayonnaise flavor and acidity may remain? I was worried, but there was none at all. Rather, it feels like the sweet potatoes have a moderate richness. In addition, the saltiness of soy sauce and the sugar content of honey overlap, creating a fresher Daigaku-imo than when fried.
It's easy to do just by chin and fry, so why not give it a try when you want a little snack!
