New spring and summer sweets are on sale at Komeda Coffee (excluding some stores). A real food review of "Zundamaru" and "Shokoradama" out of 4 types.

Zunda Maru is Komeda's first cake with an arrangement of local food. Inspired by the local cuisine of the Tohoku region, "Zunda mochi," cream using Zunda bean paste is sandwiched with sponge dough. The price is 420 yen (tax included, same below).


The overall fluffy mouthfeel. The smooth cream and the light sponge like souffle are united and disappear ephemeral. Accented with crushed edamame that remains slightly in the cream.

Zunda's refreshing sweetness that fills your mouth. The flavor of edamame, which is as strong as the richness of cream, rushes in. It's a Western-style zunda mochi.


Shokoradama is a bite-sized ganache chocolate. You can enjoy the three flavors of chocolate & coffee, strawberry, and matcha little by little. The price is 360 yen.


The mouthfeel is dense. A fluffy cream appears from the sticky ganache. The heat of the tongue melts slowly, so you can stay in the mouth for a long time and feel satisfied.

Coffee is sweet chocolate ganache with coffee whipped cream. After the richness of cacao, the mellow aroma of coffee comes out softly.


Matcha is white chocolate ganache with matcha whipped cream. The mellow sweetness and bittersweet match perfectly. You can enjoy the sharp taste of matcha.


Strawberry is strawberry whipped in white chocolate ganache. A very sweet taste with rich white chocolate as the main ingredient. Accented with freeze-dried strawberries that add a hint of acidity.

In addition to the two items introduced, we also have a lineup of seasonal sweets, "Strawberry Mont Blanc" and "Coconut Pine". Both are scheduled to be on sale until the end of August.
