The price is 50 yen higher than the usual pizza bun (120 yen including tax). What is "excellent" and how much is it? I was curious, so I decided to compare the regular pizza bun with the finest pizza bun!

Comparing the appearance side by side, the normal pizza manga is round and round, while the finest pizza manga has a shape with "folds". The color of the pizza bun is reddish, and the finest pizza bun is a little lighter. When you gently press it with your finger, the pizza bun is moist so that it sticks to it, but the finest pizza bun has a slightly thick dough and has the elasticity to push back your finger.

Next, I opened it up to check the contents (I'm sorry ...!). Then ... oh, obviously not!

The tomato sauce of pizza is bright red. On the other hand, the tomato sauce of the finest pizza bun is brownish. Also, it seems that the diced bacon contains a lot of the finest pizza buns.

While the pizza manga has a moist mouthfeel , the finest pizza manga has a fluffy and firm elasticity, and you can feel the strength and thickness of the dough against the teeth. In addition, the tomato sauce of pizza bun is fruity and has a strong sweet and sour "tomato ketchup feeling ", and the sweetness and sourness reach the taste. On the other hand, the finest pizza bun has a deep taste like a little gravy sauce. The taste of tomatoes is strong, but the sweetness and acidity are not too strong, and they are very elegant. I feel that the taste of bacon is stronger than that of pizza.

In addition, there is a difference in the texture of the ingredients. The finest pizza bun contains plenty of bacon that is cut larger than the pizza bun and is delicious. However, I didn't feel much difference between the two cheeses, which contained about 1.3 times the amount of cheese. Depending on where you grab it, it may be a little more than a bit. In both cases, the mellow umami spread with tomato sauce and was very delicious.

In conclusion, the finest pizza buns had more ingredients, fluffy dough, and richness of tomato sauce than regular pizza buns. However, it seems that which one you prefer depends on the person. In fact, there was a staff member in the En-eating editorial department who liked the usual pizza buns (I preferred the finest pizza buns).

By the way, as an aside , I thought that I could make pizza if I baked it as it was because I cut open the pizza bun, and when I put it in the toaster, I would like to report that it was unexpectedly delicious. The dough was crispy and the cheese was fragrant and fluffy, making it something very tasty like pizza toast.
