Seijo Ishii's three products were selected as "Excellence Awards" at the "Bento / Side dish Award 2015" (sponsored by the Japan Supermarket Association of Japan), which was entered by 44,746 companies nationwide. One of them is said to have won the "Best Award" in the "Noodle Category".


The homemade "Singapore-style laksa" (599 yen) won the highest award this time. The coconut-based curry noodle "Laksa", which is known as a standard street food in Singapore and Malaysia, is arranged in the Seijo Ishii style.

Laksa, who won the number one lunch box (noodle section) in Japan, wonders how delicious it is ... I'm curious! So I decided to buy it for lunch today and try it.

● "Singapore-style laksa" that won the number one noodle category

Laksa in a heavy cup when picked up. I have a lot of feelings before I open it. Please warm it in the microwave immediately.


The coconut-flavored soup is topped with flat pho and plenty of fried tofu, steamed chicken, savory vegetables, boiled eggs, tomatoes, carrots, and bean sprouts. Plenty of ingredients so that you can't see the noodles!

First, take a bite of soup. In the mellow sweetness and richness, you can feel the taste that the spiciness stands out firmly. Furthermore, the ethnic scent of coriander spreads softly, and the authentic taste is comparable to that of laksa eaten at Singapore restaurants!


The sweetness, sourness, and spiciness of the mouth change one after another, and you can't stop eating. The soup is soaked in the fried tofu, and it's superb! The author's satisfaction level is 3 stars without any complaints , just because he said, "I pursued a taste that suits the taste of Japanese people while reproducing the authentic taste"!


● Excellence Award-winning vegetable menu & dessert

In addition to laksa, the "9 kinds of vegetable banja cowder" (599 yen), which won the excellence award in the "salad category", and the sweets "gorogoro strawberry and Canadian blueberry", which won the excellence award in the "dessert category" I decided to try "Premium Cheesecake" (950 yen).


Bagna cauda is full of large-cut colorful vegetables such as carrots, potatoes, pumpkins, onions, cabbage, and paprika. I can't see it because it's hidden behind vegetables, but there is Bagna cauda sauce on the bottom. I would like vegetables to be entwined with this.


All the vegetables are steamed plumply and have a very soft mouthfeel! Carrots and onions have no bitterness and are sweet, and pumpkins, sweet potatoes, and potatoes are hook-and-eat. The sauce is delicious, of course, but this is a dish that lets you enjoy the original taste of vegetables!

The volume is enough to fill the stomach with vegetables alone, and Arasa girls (me) have decided to repeat.


Next, cheesecake. A two-layer cake of sponge and rare cheese topped with strawberries, blueberry pulp, and framboise puree. The length is about 15 cm.


When I cut it, there are plenty of strawberries and raisins in the dough. This is a luxury ...!

The sponge is moist and the rare cheese has a smooth texture and a rich taste. Cheese, strawberries and blueberries are folded to create an exquisite harmony with a sweet and refreshing acidity. The dessert has a strong taste, so even a small amount will give you a feeling of satisfaction. I want to share it with my family and friends during tea time!


Before I ate it, I was honestly reluctant to say, "The cake is more expensive than Laksa ...", but when I tried it, I was satisfied with the cost performance. With this deliciousness, if it is this size, it is a "buy".
