In June of this year, the new autumn flavor "Sweet Potato" was introduced to the "more delicious" improved Haagen-Dazs crispy sandwich. It will be on sale for a limited time from August 18th.


The flavor this time is a crispy sandwich made from sweet potatoes, which is made by wrapping anno potato ice cream with a purple potato coating and sandwiching it with sweet potato-flavored wafers. As a potato lover, I tried it right away!


When I take it out of the package, I can see the purple coding because it is between the wafers. The elliptical shape is also combined with the visual that is somewhat reminiscent of "roasted sweet potato".



When I bite into it, the thick and sweet Anno potato ice cream melted from under the crispy and fragrant wafer! Really like honey. It's like eating jam that has been slowly boiled down until the Anno potatoes melt. It's so delicious that it makes me cry ...!


The sweet potato sauce is kneaded into the ice cream like an amber aurora. The simple sweetness, which is different from Anno potato, is an accent. The gentle tastes of the three types of potatoes are mixed together to bring the autumn breeze into your mouth, making you feel a little sepia and sentimental.
