Morinaga Milk Industry's "PARM" brand has released a limited-time ice cream bar called "PARM Anno Imo". Each box contains six 55 ml bars, priced at 480 yen (excluding tax).

The first sweet potato flavor under the PARM brand, the ice cream is made from a paste of Anno sweet potatoes (produced on Tanegashima Island), a sweet potato variety with high sugar content. The coating is a milky white chocolate. It is said to have a rich yet refreshing aftertaste and a smooth, sticky texture that is typical of Palm. The calorie count is 125 kcal per piece.


The boxed PARM sold at supermarkets and other stores is less than two thirds the size of the single-bar box sold at convenience stores, making it easy to eat.



When you open the seal and take a bite, you will be filled with the sweet aroma and flavor of baked potatoes. It is reminiscent of eating a freshly baked sweet potato, but the texture on the tongue is cool and smooth, which is a strange experience. The gentle white chocolate coating goes well with the sweetness of the sweet potato, making this a product that allows you to fully enjoy the autumnal flavors of the season. It may also be enjoyed with hot coffee or hojicha tea.
