Just a few days ago, the one-month fund-raising period finally ended, and the final amount raised was a whopping $55,492 (about 5.7 million yen). 6,911 investors came forward to support the project.

Zack then announced a new use for the over-gathered investment: a charity concert "PotatoStock" to be held at an outdoor space in Columbus, Ohio on September 27. On September 27, he will hold a charity concert "PotatoStock " at an outdoor space in Columbus, Ohio.

This event, which is supposedly named after the legendary WoodStock rock festival in the U.S., is free of charge. The artists are currently being assigned.

He has also "pledged" to sponsor and make potato salad on the day of the event and give it away for free to investors who attend the event.

In addition, Zack will make potato salad while reading out the names of those who have invested in the project, and he will take a video of the entire process to prove it. Whether the investors are pleased or not, he wants to show his gratitude.

Other benefits that he must have given much thought to are listed below.

He must have never dreamed that a little joke would turn into such a big deal. He must have wondered what to do with the far more than expected investment.

Since he has become famous as the "Potato Salad Guy," he is under a lot of pressure not to make a mistake. However, I think it also taught him a lesson that taking things lightly can lead to a difficult later stage.

He said that he plans to donate the funds that were still unspent to a non-profit organization that works to end hunger and homelessness. He concludes this time around in a super cool way as follows.

Our jokes will be forgotten someday. Our jokes will be forgotten someday, but our impact will be eternal.

We believe that humor can be a great catalyst for building a better world."
