When I was 11 years old, what on earth was I thinking and doing in my daily life? My memory is a little fuzzy, but I must have spent my days sniffling and trying to guess what to make for dinner, or looking at a photo of an idol on the bottom of a book.

But not so for Lily Born, an 11-year-old girl from Chicago, USA. Instead of spending her days in idleness like the author, she has made a great invention that even adults would be amazed by.

According to Fast Company, Lily noticed that her grandfather, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, spills the contents of his cup when he drinks from it. So she created a "special" mug called the " Kangaroo Cup," which is resistant to breaking or spilling.

A kangaroo cup is a plastic tumbler with three "feet" that can be used as handles. The bottom of the cup floats in the air and is stabilized by the three legs, making it more stable and less likely to fall over than ordinary mugs. In addition, the kangaroo cups can be easily stacked on top of each other for convenient storage.

It will be useful not only for those who are ill, but also for small children who often spill the contents of their cups. Furthermore, it can be placed on uneven surfaces such as lawns and does not require a coaster, making it useful for outdoor BBQs and picnics.

And it's harder to crack if you accidentally kick it away!

Lily has left this admirable comment to the media. I would like many men and women, young and old, to know about it.

Don't be afraid of failure and mistakes. There are many mistakes before you get to the right answer.

Then don't be timid about asking for help. No matter how great an idea you come up with, there are many times when you need help from others. Most people will be more than happy to help. Except that it costs a heck of a lot of money!"

The kangaroo cup can be purchased on Kickstarter for as little as $25. An idea born out of a desire to see a happy face on a grandfather's face has now crossed borders and is about to spread to the world.
