Two new flavors have been added to the chocolate bar "Meiji The Chocolate" series. "Enchanting umami Gianduja" and "Bright scented Franboise" are on sale from December 13th. The price is 248 yen each (tax included).

Meiji The Chocolate is a "Bean to Bar" chocolate that consistently performs the entire process from selecting the production area of cacao beans (Bean) to processing it into chocolate bar. Four types were released in September this year, and it is a popular product with sales exceeding 9 million units.


The "Enchanted Umami Gianduja" released this time is a three-layered chocolate bar with hazelnut chocolate sandwiched between chocolates. The cacao content is 51%.


When you eat it, the fragrant richness of hazelnuts melts through the bitter chocolate. A deep taste that brings out the spiciness of cacao. It's like chocolate from a specialty store, and it's so delicious that you can't think it's 250 yen!


On the other hand, "Vivid Fragrance Franboise" has a gorgeous taste that spreads the scent and acidity of Franboise along with the sweetness of chocolate. The cacao content is 44% of the strong milk feeling.


Like the 4 types released last time, this one has slits that can be eaten in various shapes. This makes it possible to enjoy subtle changes in flavor due to differences in shape. The mini block type produces a "light mouthfeel", the jagged type produces a "prominent scent", the dome type produces a "rich feeling", and the stick type produces a "strong taste".
