Kano Takumi An Hankyu Umeda Main Store "Tamba Shinkuri Daifuku"
A rare large grain of Tanba chestnuts!

At the Hankyu Umeda Main Store of Kano Shojuan, Daifuku "Tamba Shinkuri Daifuku" using Tanba's new chestnuts is on sale from October 21st, limited to 100 pieces a day. The price is 500 yen per piece (excluding tax).

This is Daifuku, which is made by wrapping whole Tanba new chestnuts, which are said to be large and highly rare, in dough. Tanba's new chestnuts have a strong sweetness and are characterized by a chewy texture. By cooking while adding sugar little by little, it seems that the inside is softened while leaving the flavor. Considering the balance of chestnuts, rice cakes, and bean paste, the craftsmen carefully handcraft each one.

The sale period is about one month.
