In mid-October, I discovered a new chocolate product "Cacao NEXT" at a convenience store. The price was 268 yen (tax included).

Most of the "slightly luxurious chocolates" you see at convenience stores are bitter, and you don't often see white chocolate. I was attracted to the sales phrase "You can directly feel the flavor and aroma of cocoa butter" written on the box, so I bought it.

First check the package. The outer box is based on white, and the illustrations of cacao fruits and leaves are drawn with delicate lines.


Looking at the raw material name, the beginning is "cocoa butter". This is unusual because most white chocolate ingredients come with "sugar" at the beginning.


The inside of the box is light blue. A message is written on the lid.


The individual packaging is also light blue, similar to the inside of the box. There are 6 in a box.


Chocolate is a flat circle like a coin. It has the same cream color as general white chocolate.


When I try to eat it, it has a milky taste peculiar to white chocolate, but the sweetness is clear. You can feel the scent of cacao and the deep richness like nuts.

Not only people who like white chocolate, but also people who avoid saying "I like chocolate, but I don't like white chocolate because it's too sweet" should be able to eat it deliciously. As the sweetness is suppressed, you can fully enjoy the unique flavor of white chocolate.
