An event "Umeshu BAR 2016-Meeting to enjoy plum wine-" will be held on June 5th at Nakano BC (Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture) where you can compare and drink plum wine for 100 yen. This is the 7th time this year.

There are 42 brands of plum wine for 100 yen per cup, including "Kishu plum wine Beninanko" and "Green tea plum wine", which won the best in Japan at the plum wine grand prix, and "Cocktail plum wine" with fruit juices such as oranges and yuzu. Soft drinks and non-alcoholic plum wine are also available.

In addition, a special booth will be set up to offer rare plum wine such as "old sake" of plum wine and new products before the release. The highlight is "Nagaku Ume ROUGE 2007" (1,000 yen per cup), which is made by pickling the pesticide-reduced Nanko Ume produced by a plum farmer in Minabe Town, where "Nanko Ume" is produced, and aging it for 9 years. It will be sold only on the day.


At the same time, local restaurants have stalls on the premises. You can also buy food and snacks.

In addition, experience events such as the popular "Plum Syrup Pickling Experience Class" (advance reservation required / 1,000 yen) and "Plum Syrup Pickling Class" (same / 500 yen), and a show by the local hero "Neo Kainan Man" , Various events such as free live concerts by artists are also held.

Admission is 500 yen and includes one drink. Free for minors (must be accompanied by a guardian). The holding time is from 10:00 to 16:00 (last reception 15:00), and on the day of the event, a free bus connecting the west exit of Kainan Station and the venue will run every 20 minutes from 9:15.
