2016 Golden Week, "Entertainment World Gourmet King Gastronomy Festival" will be held at Machida Shibahiro (Machida City, Tokyo). The period is from April 28th to May 8th. At the event, a total of 16 stores will be exhibited, with 8 stores each selected by Kunikazu Katsumata and Ken Watabe, who are said to be "the best gourmets in the entertainment world."


Katsumata chose the following eight stores.

Ebisoba Ichigen (Sapporo)
Kageyama Rou (Jiyugaoka)
Kimuzukashiya (Nagano)
Shiramizu Nozo (Kumamoto)
Due Italian (Ichigaya)
Dojima Meat Shop (Osaka)
Donburi Chaya (Sapporo)
Hanegi dumplings (Setagaya)


On the other hand, Mr. Watanabe chose the following eight stores, which are introduced in his book "The Strongest 100 Plates" mainly in Tokyo.

Takumi Okiya (Nihonbashi)
Jin Din Rou (Ebisu)
Takoazabu (in front of Gaien)

On the first day of the event, Mr. Katsumata and Mr. Watanabe will appear and will "present" the reasons and commitments of each store.
