Such a sheep barbecue specialty store "Sheep Nikusakaba Godai" opened on March 11th in Suidobashi, Tokyo. It claims that the peculiar bitterness provides "surprisingly not" lamb.

I think that mutton is the factor that distinguishes the likes and dislikes of lamb, but what is lamb without it? I was curious, so I went to the store.

● Enjoy Godai's lamb with "Ami-yaki"

When it comes to grilled sheep, it is common to use a Genghis Khan pot with a convex center, but Godai is different. Using a shichirin , grill it with a net like regular grilled meat . This removes unnecessary fat and condenses the taste of the meat. Furthermore, it is smoked and the taste becomes deeper.

The signature menu is the special shoulder loin and lamb chops of "raw lamb" imported from New Zealand in a chilled state. There are also rare parts such as seasoned loin, tongue, sardines, and liver.

Although the meat is soft, it is very chewy due to its thickness. It's really dull and you might not even notice it as a sheep unless you tell it. Every time you chew, the taste of the meat spreads. The sauce is good, but the refreshing grated ponzu sauce is especially suitable.

Above all, I was able to directly enjoy the "taste of meat" of lamb because there was no dullness. In particular, I would like people who have been shunned by the image of "lamb = smell" to eat the "raw lamb" menu. You will be surprised at the lack of dullness and you will surely like mutton. On the other hand, rare parts such as seri, tongue, and liver are for lamb lovers. You will discover the new charm of lamb.
