A new product "Genghis Khan" is on sale exclusively at FamilyMart (excluding some stores) in the Kanto area. The price is 350 yen (tax included).
Sheep are rare at convenience stores & happy for sheep lovers! I was curious, so I decided to try it.
Lamb from New Zealand is used for sheep. You can see 7 to 8 chunks of meat, including lumps and large diced pieces.
Under the meat are steamed vegetables such as bean sprouts, onions and carrots, and seasoned cabbage. The meat is entwined with a sweet and spicy yakiniku sauce.
Lamb meat is tender, but thick, so it's good enough to eat. Every time you chew, the taste of sweet and spicy sauce, the taste of meat, and the unique flavor of sheep are fully expanded. The spicy spiciness of the topped red pepper is also a nice accent.
The deliciousness of Genghis Khan is reproduced so firmly that you can't think of it as a convenience store side dish, and I'm honestly happy to be surprised! It has a rich taste, so it looks delicious even if you put it on rice and put it on a lamb bowl. If you like sheep, please try it.
