It must be delicious, so I bought it on the release date (June 24th) and tried it!
The ice cream has 4 layers. The top layer is a thick kinako black honey sauce. You can feel the aroma of black honey and the rough texture of soybean flour.
The second layer from the top is the vanilla ice cream layer. Rich and smooth, Haagen-Dazs vanilla flavor.
The third layer is the red bean paste sauce. It's not too sweet and refreshing, and it tastes like red bean paste in "Anman".
The fourth layer (bottom) is a milk sorbet with condensed milk. It seems that salt is added to the "hidden taste", but this is ... not hidden !! The salt is working quite well! And delicious ... !!
This salty taste tightens the upper three layers of sweetness at the bottom, giving a sense of unity and addiction to the whole.
When you eat 4 layers at the same time, Kuromitsu insists that it's hard to beat. Next, the rich richness of vanilla, the mild sweetness of red bean paste, and the salty taste of shimeji, each taste spreads throughout the mouth while maintaining an exquisite balance! It's more like eating chilled Japanese sweets than ice cream!
Haagen-Dazs ice cream is just right for a little daily "reward sweets" in terms of size and price. Eat during snack breaks and overtime at the office, or go home and eat with alcohol. ... Well, I'm going to buy it on my way home today.
That's why Hagen-san, I'm looking forward to the next "Japone" series!
