7-ELEVEN will release "Kin no Omusubi," which pursues the deliciousness of "hand-rolled rice balls," on April 24, ahead of stores in the Tokyo metropolitan area. The nationwide release is scheduled for May 13.

There are 3 types of "Kin no Omusubi" to be released this time. "Sockeye salmon sardines" (200 yen), which is made by grilling the "umami part" of sockeye salmon with fat on charcoal fire, and "Hokkaido salmon roe pickled in soy sauce" using "Hokkaido salmon roe" pickled in soy sauce in a fresh state. (220 yen), "Plenty of kelp 〆 raw cod roe" (180 yen) using "raw cod roe" that has been carefully aged with kelp, limited to grades with graininess and umami.

Only rice that has the highest (special A) rating in the "Rice Taste Ranking " conducted by the Japan Grain Inspection Association is used. It is said that carefully selected Ariake seaweed is used for the seaweed.
