FamilyMart released a new "Character Manga" on February 4th. This time, "Gachapin Man" and "Mook Man" are collaborations with the characters "Gachapin" & "Mook" born from popular TV programs.

Gachapin is a dinosaur boy whose charm point is his sloppy eyes. Even in this Chinese steamed bun, the green, round face and sagging eyes are reproduced. It also comes with a comb!

Mook, on the other hand, is a child of Yukio, born on an island near the North Pole. It features a bright red hairy body and a propeller on its head. In Chinese steamed buns, a mook with white hands on the face is designed. The body is pink. It also has a propeller, but it looks like a ribbon ...

Both are too cute to eat! Chinese gachapin and mook are also printed on the paper, so be sure to print them on your eyes before throwing them away.

For those who are concerned about not only the appearance but also the taste, I will report on the impressions I ate.

Gachapin bun is like chinjaolose. Contains peppers, shredded pork and bamboo shoots. The taste of bell peppers is alive and well. On the other hand, Mook Man is a Hoikoro style with stir-fried pork roses and cabbage. You can feel the richness of Miso firmly. The ingredients are also large and delicious. I felt it was a little sweeter than Gachapin Man.

By the way, Gachapin's official Twitter account (@GachapinBlog) and official blog also have pictures of Gachapin and Mook with their respective Chinese steamed buns. Am I the only one who feels guilty?

Limited to 500,000 pieces each, the price is 180 yen. At FamilyMart, which is used by the En-eating editorial department, there were about 3 mook buns left, but the last one was gachapin buns. Gachapin Man may sell out sooner ...? If you are interested, please get it as soon as possible!
