" FanimeCon " is an event for anime fans held in Northern California every year at this time of year. This year, it's being held from May 24th to 27th at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California. During the event, a normally quiet city in Silicon Valley will be flooded with more than 20,000 anime cosplayers.
At "FanimeCon 2013", Japanese animation works such as "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya", "Mach Go Go", and "Candy Candy" will be screened, as well as various introductions to J-Pop music videos and lectures on how to learn Japanese. A program is available.
For this FanimeCon, San Jose's donut shop "Psycho Donuts" prepared "Psycho Psushi". Psycho Donuts first unveiled the Psycho Psushi at FanimeCon in 2011 and is now one of the must-have dishes (?) For the event.
Chef Ron of Psycho Donut describes the Psycho Sushi as follows:
"I don't use any real fresh fish, so even if you can't eat raw fish, please try it."
Psycho Donuts also sells donut-made takoyaki "Psycho Takoyaki" and totoro-designed donuts "Totoro".
