The cafe & restaurant "HangOut HangOver" with the concept of "Street in New York" has landed in Kyushu for the first time! "Daimyo" will open in Chuo-ku, Fukuoka on September 23rd.

HangOut HangOver already has stores in Shibuya and Shinjuku. Similar to the two stores in Tokyo, this daimyo store will be decorated with wall art and other items to create an "unusual space" in the image of a large garage. Live events will be held regularly!

◆ Angus steak should be eaten!


HangOut HangOver's signature menu is the grilled Angus beef, a steak made by grilling rib roast (approx. 300g (10.58oz), 4,300 yen, dinner only). Garnish with crispy potatoes, savory grilled onions and pickled sweet and sour red cabbage.

The steak is made from "highest quality" meat, which has been certified as being able to take just under 20% of Angus beef (!). It is characterized by its tender meat quality and umami-rich taste.

When you bite it, it's crisp and crisp, and it feels moist and moist. The balance between lean and fat is good, and the more you chew, the more delicious the meat and the sweetness of the fat.

If you add the sauce attached to this, it will be delicious again. The sauce is a deglazing sauce made by boiling red wine, with onions and garlic. The moderate acidity sheds the fat of the meat, so it's voluminous, but it's mellow.

The editorial department's (or rather the author's) push is "Pakchi Dry Shrimp Thai Potato Salad" (400 yen, dinner only). I've eaten all kinds of potato salad so far, but this was my first taste!

Potato salad with dried shrimp, wood ear, and coriander added to soft and soft potatoes. It is seasoned with ethnic seasonings, but it is mild and not too addictive, so it is easy to eat.

The taste of dried shrimp is added to the taste, the refreshing pakuchi is added to the aroma, and the crispy wood ear adds an accent to the texture. It tastes and chewy, so it definitely goes well with beer!

◆ Hand-made putty hamburger


One of the notable menus offered for both lunch and dinner is the "hamburger plate" (1,280 yen). Grilled onion, tomato, lettuce, and sliced cheese are layered on a thick beef putty and sandwiched with buns.

The putty is simply seasoned with salt and pepper. The only sauces to match are chopped pickles and mustard, so you can enjoy the deliciousness of the meat directly.

◆ In a measuring cup? Pie dessert


The recommended dessert is "Crispy" pie ice honey mascarpone and maple syrup (700 yen) in a measuring cup. This is also served for lunch and dinner.

A hearty dessert that combines honey-seasoned mascarpone with vanilla ice cream, roasted nuts, and a crispy pie. Finish with maple syrup.

There are pies in the cup and on the ice cream, and the toppings are full of nuts, so you will be greeted with a crunchy texture no matter where you eat.

◆ Limited menu until August


At the Shibuya and Shinjuku stores, "New York's representative street food" is also offered as a seasonal menu until the end of August. The name is "NY Philly Cheesesteak" (1,080 yen). A crispy baguette topped with beef ribs and rich cheddar cheese. It's perfect for sake!
