The thirteenth night of the ninth lunar month is also called "Kuri-May-Getsu" because chestnuts are offered to the gods. The fresh confectionery "Kuri-May-Getsu" is made of a dough mixed with back-strained chestnuts and white bean paste, wrapped in gozen-an (red bean paste), and made into a chakin-shibori (tea towel) shape. It will be on sale from October 25 to 27. The price is 638 yen (tax included).
