Mai-izumi will introduce a new To go menu item, the "Mini Soy Meat Katsu Burger," which will be available from April 6 to July 5. The price is 216 yen per piece (tax included).

According to Mai-izumi, soybean meat, an alternative meat made from soybeans, has been attracting increasing attention against the backdrop of recent health-conscious consumers. This time, the menchikatsu is made with soybean meat, and is now available as a mini-burger.

The burger is described as having the same texture and flavor as the traditional Mai-zen menchikatsu, and is as satisfying as if you were eating a menchikatsu. The bread and Mai-izumi's original sauce also go well together to create a "three-in-one" flavor. The buns and sauce are made from animal products.

The product is sold at Mai-izumi directly-managed stores and major supermarkets nationwide. Prices are rounded up to reflect the reduced tax rate of 8%, and may differ at stores that round down their prices.
