With the global increase in beef consumption, environmental pollution such as global warming and deforestation has become an issue these days. The use of fake meat (meat substitutes) is spreading in Europe, the U.S. and Europe, and is expected to expand further in the future. As part of its efforts to protect the environment, Freshness Burger has been selling hamburgers made with "SOY (soybean) patties," which do not contain beef, since 2020.

As a new initiative, five types of beef patty burgers can be switched to "SOY" patties free of charge. The SOY patty is blended with coconut oil, which reduces the distinctive bean aroma and provides a texture and eating experience comparable to that of meat. The patty has a lighter flavor than the beef patty, which enhances the taste of the vegetables and sauce.

The five beef patty burgers in the program are as follows

Garden Salad Burger
Freshness Burger
Cheeseburger
Salsa Burger
Teriyaki burger

Premium burgers and chicken/fish burgers are excluded.
Animal products are used in the buns and sauces of the burgers.
