Ingredients

Here is what you need to prepare. (This recipe is based on the recipe of Co-op Pal System.

5 gyoza dumpling skins
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon water

These are easy-to-make quantities. Adjust the amount of sugar according to the number of sheets of skin you have on hand.

How to make

Cut dumpling skins in half.

Twist the dumpling skin into a stick shape, and then press both ends tightly together. It is easier to do this if you wet your hands with a little water.

Arrange them on a baking sheet without overlapping and microwave (500W) for 1 minute and 20 seconds without covering with plastic wrap. If not cooked enough, add 10 seconds at a time until crispy.

Heat sugar and water in a frying pan over medium heat. When it gets hot, add the dumpling skins and toss them all together.

Remove to a plate and sprinkle with sugar or riced sesame seeds, etc. as desired.

How does it taste?

The crunchy texture, the sweetness and savory flavor that seeps out the more you bite into it, and the addictive taste! The nostalgic and rustic taste will make you want to keep eating them. Perfect as a snack or a nibble!
