◆ Material
Chicken thigh about 200g (7.05oz)
5 shiitake mushrooms 2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons of sugar
Shichimi pepper 1 tablespoon of sesame oil as much as you like
◆ How to make
1. Divide the shiitake mushrooms into bulk and shaft, and cut the bulk into 4 equal parts. Cut off only the hard part of the stone and cut it into a size that is easy to eat.
2. If the chicken thigh is a lump, cut it into bite-sized pieces. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and bake on medium heat for about 5 minutes with the chicken skin facing down.
3. Turn the chicken over, add shiitake mushrooms and fry for another 3 minutes.
4. When the whole is cooked, add soy sauce and sugar and simmer. Turn off the heat, add the shichimi pepper and mix gently to complete.
◆ What is the result?
Both chicken and shiitake mushrooms are juicy and tender. Although the chicken has a pale image, it has a deep taste due to the umami of shiitake mushrooms that overflows as you chew and the aroma of sesame oil. Shichimi pepper is a vivid accent to the sweet and spicy seasoning. The spiciness that remains on the tongue invites you to the next bite.
You can choose the amount of shichimi pepper, but if you are an adult, it is recommended to sprinkle more. It goes well with beer and sake!
