Okara Steamed Buns Easy recipe with pancake mix & microwave

Ingredients

Here is what you need to prepare.

50 g raw okara
50cc milk (or soy milk)
70 g pancake mix
1 tablespoon sugar (or honey)

Directions

Put okara and milk (soy milk) in a heatproof container and mix with a whisk to blend. This time, use adjusted soy milk.

Add sugar (honey) and stir to combine.

Add the pancake mix and mix roughly with a spatula. When the mixture is no longer powdery, flatten the dough.

Cover with fluffy plastic wrap and place in microwave oven for 2 minutes at 500W.

Remove from microwave and remove plastic wrap. If it is still raw, microwave for 30 seconds or so at a time, watching and adding more. When cooked through, turn the dough upside down, remove from heat, and voila!

How does okara steamed bread taste?

Yum! The fluffy texture in the mouth, the moist and absorbent texture when you bite into it, and the chewy texture are all great! The soft sweetness of soy milk that spreads in your mouth is so simple and irresistible! I can't stop...I'll eat another slice...

The recipe introduced here makes a steamed bread with firm elasticity and stickiness. The texture varies depending on the individual pieces of okara (water content, etc.), so please adjust the amount of milk (soymilk) by adding a little more to suit your taste. Try this steamed bread made from okara and enjoy it guilt-free while it fills you up with a sticky goodness!
